It is with great sadness that we report on the passing of Pat Troy, early in the morning of Thursday, March 22, 2018, just days after serving as Grand Marshal of the 2018 Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
His family and friends mourn the loss of our favorite Living Legend.

On March 2, Pat and Bernadette Troy were officially installed as the Grand Marshals of the 2018 Alexandria Saint Patrick's Day Parade, the Parade Pat founded in the early 1980s. Click here to see all the photos from the 2018 Parade.

On May 2, 2017, Pat received the Irish Spirit Award at the first-ever Irish Heritage Night, before the Nationals-Diamondbacks game at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. He is shown here on the stadium's giant video monitor.

Watch an old Christmas episode of The Irish Show with Pat Troy and Ed O'Brien. Included is an interview with now-Ambassador Anne Anderson, who was then First Secretary of the Irish Embassy.
